Please remember; Some year 6 girls will be selling bracelets for a £1. This money will go towards Hope House. Darren will also be coming in to sell ice creams for £2. Year 6 pupils only can take part in water games if they wish, therefore they will need a change of clothing, towel and any water pistols etc (if they have any)

The Halloween Disco was a massive success! Not only were all the pupils dressed in their scary best, but we raised over £800 for the school, which is fantastic! A huge thank you to all of the parents and staff that helped make the disco such a success. Diolch!

Our next big event is the Christmas Fair on Thursday 12^th December 5-6.30 pm. If you would like to help with the organisation, we’ll be having a meeting on Wednesday 6^th November. For the year 3, 4, 5 and 6 trip to West Midland Safari Park on Thursday, pupils may bring a small amount of money (no more that £5) to buy an ice cream or drink .

Cadwch lygad ar y tywydd, ond sicrhewch fod gan y plant dillad addas ar gyfer y bore yn ogystal ag eli haul os oes angen. Mae disgwyl i’r plant cynrychioli’r ysgol, felly gofynnwn iddynt wisgo dillad ymarfer corff hy, Crys T gwyn, Siorts / Trowsus dywyll a threinyrs.

Skills Activity Day

On Wednesday 10th of July your child will be taking part in the above Activity Day. The day will start at 10am and will continue through until the end of the day. They will not require a lunch box for the day, as they will have their dinner time as usual in the canteen. But, please make sure the kids have plenty of water for the day.

Keep your eye on the weather, but make sure they have suitable clothes for the day as well as Sunscreen if necessary. Pupils are expected to partake while representing the school, so we ask them to wear PE clothes i.e. White T-Shirt, dark shorts/trousers and trainers

Ar ddiwedd y cystadlaethau rhedeg, mi fydd y disgyblion yn dychwelyd i’w dosbarthiadau erbyn diwedd y dydd.

Weather permitting, the primary sports day will take place on Friday the 12th of July.

In the morning, the pupils will be taking part in field events and, in the afternoon, it will be track races. You are welcome to come and see your child running in the afternoon. However, as the pupils are moving around the site, you will be unable to watch the morning events. We hope to start the running events at 12:30pm and they will be held down by the 6th Form Centre on the football pitch.

Reception, year 1 and 2 have already received a letter letting them know which ‘house’ they are in and years 3-6 should already know. However, if they are unsure please contact your class teacher. The colours are as follows:

Cain- Red

Tanat- Green

Efyrnwy- Blue

Cynllaith- Yellow.

On this day, your child will need to come to school wearing their PE Kit and an item showing their house colour.

At the end of the running events the pupils will be returning to class
