Ar ran Corff Llywodraethwyr Ysgol Llanfyllin, hoffwn longyfarch disgyblion a staff ar set ragorol o ganlyniadau. I lawer o’n disgyblion bydd hyn yn dod â’u haddysg ffurfiol i ben, sydd wedi digwydd yn ystod yr amser mwyaf digynsail. Maent wedi gweithio’n galed iawn yn yr amgylchiadau mwyaf anarferol, wrth gael eu cefnogi gan staff yn academaidd, yn emosiynol ac yn ymarferol, i gyflawni’r canlyniadau hyn. Rydym yn dymuno’n dda iddynt i gyd am y dyfodol ac, i’r rhai sy’n ein gadael, p’un a yw hynny y tu allan i addysg neu mewn addysg drydyddol, edrychwn ymlaen at ddilyn eu hymdrechion. I’r rhai sy’n dychwelyd i Lanfyllin edrychwn ymlaen at eu croesawu yn ôl yn ein Canolfan 6ed Dosbarth newydd o dan, yr hyn yr ydym yn gobeithio, fydd amgylchiadau gwahanol iawn.

Dyma’r canlyniadau cyntaf i’r ysgol newydd, a ddechreuodd ym mis Medi fel ysgol gydol oes. Pan ddechreuon ni’r broses o gyfuno’r 2 ysgol flaenorol, nid oeddem erioed wedi rhagweld pandemig; fodd bynnag, gyda llawer o waith caled a chefnogaeth gan yr Uwch Dîm Arweinyddiaeth a’r staff rydym wedi gwneud y flwyddyn gyntaf yn llwyddiant gwirioneddol. Felly, ar ran y Corff Llywodraethol, hoffwn estyn ein diolch i bob aelod unigol o Deulu Llanfyllin.

Ysgol Llanfyllin

On behalf of the Governing Body of Ysgol Llanfyllin, I would like to congratulate both pupils and staff on an outstanding set of results.  For many of our pupils this will bring to an end their formal education, which has occurred during the most unprecedented time.  They have worked extremely hard in the most unusual of circumstances, whilst being supported by staff academically, emotionally and practically, to achieve these outcomes.  We wish them all well in the future and, for those leaving us, whether that be outwith education or in tertiary education, we look forward to following their endeavours.  For those returning to Llanfyllin we look forward to welcoming them back in our new 6th Form Centre under, what we hope, will be very different circumstances.

These results are the first for the new school, which started in September as an all-through-school.  When we started the process of amalgamating the 2 previous schools, we never envisaged a pandemic; however, with a lot of hard work and support from both the Senior Leadership Team and the staff we have made the first year a real success.  Therefore, on behalf of the Governing Body, I extend our thanks and gratitude to every single member of Teulu Llanfyllin.
