Following the inspection of the school in March, the Estyn report for Ysgol Llanfyllin is published today.
There is much to celebrate throughout the report, in particular Estyn recognise the strength of the care, support and guidance offered to pupils at Ysgol Llanfyllin:

‘The ‘teulu’ (family) ethos of Ysgol Llanfyllin is central to all aspects of its well-being provision. Staff work collaboratively to establish a deep understanding of the well-being needs of pupils, particularly those who are most vulnerable and disadvantaged’
This is the first inspection of Ysgol Llanfyllin as an all age school and the whole school community should be very proud of what has been achieved since its inception in 2020. You will not be surprised to know that we collectively remain ambitious for further improvement and will work closely with the local authority to address any recommendations contained in the report.

We are currently seeking to employ a permanent cleaner to clean at the end of the school day from 3.30pm to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday – 15 hours per week. The post would start as soon as possible.
