Rehearsal will be after school tomorrow (Monday) until 4 p.m. NOT Friday this week.

We will let you know the times for the Eisteddfod on Saturday as soon as we get them.

The Urdd solo practices will start this week. Please see the timetable below. The timetable will not be the same every week. Please collect your child/ children from the red sliding doors next to the main entrance. The Eisteddfod competition will be held on Saturday, 7th March.

A note to remind you that the children need to be at school by 8:15 a.m. tomorrow (12.12.25). Please bring the children to the classroom door as usual. No lunch box required as we will be back by lunchtime. Remember, it is also Christmas Jumper Day.

Os ddarganfyddir llau neu wyau, yna trinier hwy ar unwaith os gwelwch yn dda. Y dull mwyaf effeithiol o ddelio â’r broblem yw dilyn y ‘Dull Cribo Gwlyb’ unwaith yr wythnos neu ar ôl golchi’r gwallt. 

Unfortunately, it has been brought to our attention that there are cases of head lice in Miss Dolben-Evans’s class (Year 3 & 4).

In order to tackle head lice and eradicate them from the school, please can you check carefully your child’s hair using a fine comb (nit comb), paying special attention to the area around the back of the ears, neck, crown and fringe thoroughly combing the hair looking for live lice or eggs(nits). If live lice or eggs are detected, please treat immediately. The best means of preventing infestation is by regular grooming using ‘The Wet Comb Method’ weekly or following every hair wash.

We ask Ysgol Llanfyllin Year 5 and 6 pupils to come to school as usual. In order to get the most out of the day and to socialise with the other schools in the cluster, the pupils will eat lunch together. A packed lunch will be required.
