Mae Ysgol Llanfyllin yn dymuno penodi Athro/Athrawes brwdfrydig, medrus ac ymroddedig ym maes Mathemateg ac/neu Thechnoleg Gwybodaeth i ymuno â’n tîm.

Mae hwn yn gyfle cyffrous i weithio mewn ysgol gefnogol ac arloesol sy’n gwasanaethu cymuned wledig fywiog ym Mhowys. Rydym yn falch o’n perthnasoedd cryf, ein hethos cynhwysol a’n hymrwymiad i addysgu a dysgu o safon uchel.

Rydym yn chwilio am ymgeisydd sy’n:

  • Gallu addysgu Mathemateg a TG i safon uchel
  • Yn meddu ar y gallu i addysgu pynciau eraill (er enghraifft, Daearyddiaeth) – yn ddymunol
  • Yn meddu ar ddisgwyliadau uchel o ran cynnydd a safonau ymddygiad disgyblion
  • Yn ymrwymedig i godi safonau a chefnogi pob dysgwr i gyflawni ei lawn botensial
  • Yn barod i gyfrannu at fywyd ehangach yr ysgol

Teacher of Mathematics and/or IT

Ysgol Llanfyllin is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and committed Teacher of Mathematics and/or IT to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking school serving a vibrant rural community in Powys. We are proud of our strong relationships, inclusive ethos and commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.

The Role

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Can deliver high-quality teaching in Mathematics and IT
  • Has the ability to teach additional subjects (for example, Geography) – desirable
  • Has high expectations for pupil progress and behaviour
  • Is committed to raising standards and supporting all learners to achieve their full potential
  • Is willing to contribute to the wider life of the school
