Yn dilyn llawer o feddwl a thrafodaeth mae’r Corff Llywodraethol wedi penderfynu dychwelyd ein gwasanaeth ffreutur i Arlwyo Powys. Y gofyniad cyfreithiol ar gyfer rhedeg ein ffreutur ein hunain oedd bod yn rhaid iddo dalu eu gostau, gan nad ydym yn cael defnyddio Cyllideb Ddirprwyedig i ariannu r gwasanaeth. Yn anffodus mae costau cynyddol cynnyrch a staffio wedi golygu ein bod wedi dod i’r pwynt lle nad ydym yn medru talu ein costau’n llawn. Ffactor pellach yw bod Llywodraeth Cymru wedi cyflwyno Rheoliadau Safonau Bwyd newydd ar gyfer ysgolion ac mae’n anodd iawn i ni gydymffurfio a’r rhain fel darparwyr mor fach.
Byddwn yn anfon llythyr Diet Arbennig a rhai ffurflenni drwy Classcharts ar ran Powys Catering. Oes oes gan eich plentyn/ plant unrhyw anghenion penodol yna dychwelwch y ffurflen mor fuan â phosib os gwelwch yn dda, hyd yn oed os yw’r ysgol wedi derbyn y wybodaeth eisoes gan fod Powys Catering angen casglu r wybodaeth yn annibynnol. Os yr ydych angen copi papur o’r ffurflenni, gadewch i’r swyddfa wybod a byddwn yn darparu un i chi.
Byddwn yn gosod eitem dalu arwahan ar Parent Pay i’r rhai ohonoch sydd â dyled heb ei thalu o’r tymor diwethaf. Rhaid i’r dyledion hyn gael eu talu mor fuan â phosib. Os oes gennych unrhyw broblemau cysylltwch â’r ysgol i gael sgwrs efo Mrs Sarah Hunter.
Following a great deal of thought and discussion the Governing Body has made the decision to return our Canteen Service to Powys Catering. The legal requirement for running our own Canteen was that it must cover its costs as we are not permitted to use our Delegated Budget to subsidise the service. Sadly, increasing costs of produce and staffing have meant that we have come to the point where we are unable to fully cover our costs. A further factor is that the Welsh Government have brought out new Food Standard regulations for schools and it is very difficult for us to comply with these as such a small provider.
On behalf of Powys Catering we will be sending out a Special Diet letter and some forms via Class Charts. If your child/children have any specific requirements please return the form as soon as possible, even if you have already told the School as Powys Catering need to gather the information independently. If you need a paper copy of the forms, please let the office know and one will be provided.
We will be setting up a separate payment item on ParentPay for those of you who have an outstanding debt from last term. These will need to be paid as soon as possible. Please do not make any payments for outstanding debts until the new payment item is set up. If you have any issues, please contact the school and speak to Mrs Sarah Hunter.
