Mae corff Llywodraethol Ysgol Llanfyllin yn awyddus i gyflogi unigolyn i weithio dan arweiniad y Pennaeth Cynorthwyol sy’n gyfrifol am Ymddygiad a Lles, i gefnogi datblygiad disgyblion difreintiedig, i gynyddu cyfranogiad disgyblion ym mywyd cymdeithasol ac academaidd yr ysgol o’r dosbarth Derbyn i Flwyddyn 13. 

I weithio gydag ystod o ddisgyblion a’u teuluoedd, y bydd llawer ohonynt o gefndiroedd difreintiedig a rhoi blaenoriaeth i’r rhai sydd angen y mwyaf o gymorth. Mae’r amrywiaeth o faterion y bydd angen sylw yn eang, yn amrywio o brydlondeb, absenoldeb, bwlio, ymddygiad heriol, trawma, hunan barch isel a chyrhaeddiad academaidd.

I weithio’n annibynnol i annog disgyblion i ddod yn ddysgwyr mwy annibynnol a helpu i godi cyflawniad a chyrhaeddiad yr holl ddisgyblion.

I weithio gyda’r tîm bugeiliol ehangach, gan gynnwys Rheolwyr Cynnydd, Rheolwr Bugeiliol yr ysgol ac eraill i sicrhau ansawdd y ddarpariaeth a’r gofal i’n disgyblion difreintiedig.

The Governing body of Ysgol Llanfyllin is looking to recruit an individual to work under the direction of the Assistant Head responsible for Behaviour and Wellbeing, to support the development of disadvantaged pupils, to maximise the participation of pupils in the social and academic life of the school from Reception to Year 13.

To work with a range of pupils and their families, many of whom will be from disadvantaged backgrounds and give priority to those who need the most help.  The variety of issues covered will be vast, ranging from punctuality, absence, bullying, challenging behaviour, trauma, low self-esteem and academic achievement.

To work independently to encourage pupils to become more independent learners and help to raise achievement and attainment for all pupils.

To work with the wider pastoral team, including Progress Managers, the school’s Wellbeing Manager and others to ensure quality of provision and care for our disadvantaged pupils.
